About the Team

You’ll be part of the Ecom in-house photo team, responsible for executing seasonal online product shots for the Williams Sonoma and Williams Sonoma Home brands in our photo studio studio. Our team ensures all seasonal digital assets are captured, approved, and delivered on time to support go-live dates.

 

About the Role

In the Coordinator, Ecom Asset Production role, you will plan Ecom PIP photography from start to finish.  You will act as liaison between Merchant, Asset, Retouching and Internet Creative Teams to ensure shot lists are vetted, sample and photo issues are mitigated, and seasonal project deadlines are met. You will partner with Sr. Studio Manager to schedule Ecom exclusive photo shoots, book creative talent while adhering to the fiscal budget. You will also work closely alongside the Assistant Photo Manager to update sample data in our cloud-based asset management application and help resolve any sample issues.

·  Partner with the Sr. Studio Manager, Photo Manager, and Creative VP to build seasonal and annual photo schedules; maintain the seasonal Ecom PIP schedule and talent grid

·  Prepare, schedule, and lead pre-production meetings; capture product-specific direction and shot callouts; distribute detailed recaps

·  Book freelance photographers and stylists based on best fit for subject matter; manage confirmations, cancellations, and schedule changes

·  Ingest seasonal and daily updates into the photo management tracking system

·  Create and share shot lists for select departments, including image file naming as needed

·  Partner with the Assistant Photo Manager to track down missing or late samples

·  Monitor Catalog/Upper Level shot lists to identify efficiencies; request PIP images be captured simultaneously when possible; update Capture Fox when Ecom PIP images are completed

·  Manage late add requests and missing image reports; proactively troubleshoot and resolve outstanding issues

·  Partner with the in-house Retouching Team to ensure on time image delivery

·  Occasionally assist with sample ordering and on-set production as needed

·  Support updates and maintenance of WS and WSH photography style guides

·  Ensure the best online customer experience by auditing website categories for clean-up needs or reshoot opportunities

·  Track and report seasonal PIP shot counts, special projects, and reshoots

·  Ability to work full-time onsite at the Richmond Photo Studios

• 2–4 years of related experience; knowledge of photo studios and digital workflows preferred
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent scheduling abilities with the capacity to multitask and maintain strong attention to detail
• Effective communicator with both internal and external teams
• Experience collaborating with creative teams and production staff

 

Technical Competencies required:

  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficient with macOS 
  • Experience with Airtable
  • Experience with EDAM and Capture Fox systems a plus
  • Familiarity with Abobe Creative Suite (Bridge, Photoshop also a plus)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to type on a keyboard and operate a Mac
  • Ability to converse over a telephone
  • Ability to work in office and perform in corporate environment
