Sr. .NET Core Engineer

At Param Group, we are building the group’s central platform on a cutting-edge tech stack - from microservices and streaming to applied AI - to deliver speed, reliability, and intelligence.

We’re now hiring a Senior .NET Core Engineer. You’ll work closely with Product Analysts, Architects, and fellow Engineers to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services that power financial solutions across Europe. From architecture to deployment, you’ll take ownership of services that handle millions of transactions and keep our platform running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET Core.

• Build and optimize APIs and integrations used by web, mobile, and external partners.

• Contribute to system architecture, domain modeling, and service ownership.

• Work on high-throughput services with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and fault-tolerance.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and monitoring of live services.

• Collaborate with DevOps to enhance CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automation.

• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.

• Mentor peers, contribute to engineering culture, and share knowledge across teams.

• Engage in Agile practices - 14-day sprints, standups, and cross-functional teamwork.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in backend engineering with strong expertise in C# and .NET Core.

• API skills: Proven track record of designing and building RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Architecture mindset: Solid understanding of microservices, DDD, and event-driven systems.

• Performance focus: Experience working with high-throughput, distributed systems.

• DevOps familiarity: CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability (GitHub Actions, Datadog, Prometheus, Sentry, etc.).

• Cloud & containers: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.

• Business mindset: Ability to quickly grasp new domains and design solutions that create measurable impact.

• Mentorship & communication skills: Capable of explaining complex technical concepts and guiding teams through the adoption of new technologies.

• Language: Fluent English; Czech is a plus.
