Examples of duties
Six years of experience in television engineering; ORSix years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years of experience in television engineering; OR
An engineering-level certification designation from the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) plus three years of experience in television engineering; OR
A bachelor’s degree plus three years of experience in television engineering.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:
• Supervises facility operations and oversees the Facility Maintenance Manager.
• Approves facility maintenance schedules and reviews completed work.
• Manages agency fleet operations, including vehicle utilization and preventive maintenance.
• Reviews and approves fleet usage records, mileage reimbursements, and related documentation.
• Authorizes payments, resolves invoice discrepancies, and ensures compliance with contract terms.
• Coordinates telecommunications equipment, services, and system modifications with the Office of Technology Management (OTM).
• Monitors telecommunications services and expenditures, reporting discrepancies as needed.
• Evaluates agency telecommunications usage and identifies training needs.
• Maintains current agency telephone listings and attends required telecommunications training.
• Designated as the agency’s Assistant Property Manager for the Louisiana Property Assistance Agency (LPAA)
