Home Mortgage Foreclosure Senior Specialist

As the Home Mortgage Foreclosure Senior Specialist, you will monitor loans in foreclosure to ensure compliance with all investor, guarantor, insurer, state, and federal guidelines and that timeframes are adhered to.
Primary responsibilities include
- Monitor loans in the foreclosure process and update servicing system with all critical steps during the process.
- Reviews files when received in foreclosure to ensure that all of the prerequisites of foreclosure have been met.
- Monitor vacant properties during the foreclosure process to ensure that all property preservation functions are completed timely and in accordance with investor guidelines.
- Resolve complex payment disputes and reconcile payment histories.
- Research payment histories and payment disputes on loans acquired from other banks. This includes researching histories back to the inception of the loan.
- Work the foreclosure task queue daily and respond to inquiries timely.
- Handle all foreclosure related correspondence, phone calls, and emails promptly to avoid customer complaints.
- Read, review and understand title reports to ensure that the property being foreclosed is in the correct lien position.
- Report foreclosure sale results accurately and timely to the investor.
- Train and mentor employees.
- Supervisory back up when supervisor out of the office.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
- MSP/LPS - Black Knight
- Intermediate Excel skills
- 2 -4 years of default loan servicing
- FHA/USDA/VA servicing experience preferred.
- Candidate should have strong time-management skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize work assignments, be detail oriented and self-motivated.
- Knowledgeable in Document Execution and notarization
- Knowledgeable in Payoffs and reinstatements
Hours & Work Schedule
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday - This position is hybrid located in the Glen Allen Office 3 days a week
