The General Maintenance Technician performs maintenance service and repairs at our resort ensuring that all facilities and villas are maintained to the highest standards. This roles involves performing routine inspections, addressing maintenance requests and executing repairs to enhance the guest experience and ensure safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Maintaining the overall quality of the interior/exterior of their assigned area through daily inspections
- Familiarity of basic to intermediate hand tools and dispatching systems with complete knowledge of basic tasks
- Report or complete repairs in assigned areas to ensure all assets are both functional and maintained with a high appearance standard
- Respond and complete guest calls in a timely manner that reflects being customer obsessed
- Coordinate with leaders to complete larger repairs and communicate need for additional resources
- Basic troubleshooting and repairs
Examples: repairing door hinges, furniture assembly, changing air filters and vents, touch up paint, caulking. - Minor plumbing and electrical
Examples: unclogging drains and toilets, replacing light bulbs - Inspections and capturing needed repairs

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Entry- level
- No experience required
- Basic maintenance knowledge and skilled preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training a plus
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Any certification a plus
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to follow written instruction and complete documentation associated with unit maintenance
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Must meet company required motor vehicle policy standards
- Must have ability to perform skilled work in general maintenance
- Must have ability to problem-solve
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
