MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Fayetteville, NC.
In this role, you will contribute to a mission-focused team that will support military operators and mission partners by securing complex systems, ensuring compliance, and supporting cyber defense operations. Your work will directly contribute to safeguarding key infrastructure and enhancing national security through effective cybersecurity practices.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Planning, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
Ensuring appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure and respond to computer security breaches.
Lead the creation, update, and maintenance of required Body of Evidence (BOE) documentation for system accreditation
Document and update security controls, network diagrams, and technical artifacts to support compliance efforts
Conduct vulnerability scans and maintain system baselines and configuration management for multiple networks
Ensure functional, secure, and compliant system deployments in coordination with multiple stakeholders
Developing and tuning detection rules in the SIEM.
Mentoring junior analysts and contributes to the continuous improvement of SOC processes and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field OR High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree
9+ years of experience in Information Systems Security
Proven success meeting rigorous security requirements in complex enterprise environments
Proficiency in documenting and managing complex networks, including compliance and configuration standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Advanced certifications in cyber defense or penetration testing (e.g., GCIA, GPEN).
