Maintenance Technician

Kidde Global Solutions is hiring a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining all plant facilities and/or production equipment as needed.  You will provide general facility maintenance and maintain records on all maintenance activities and on occasion work in the production areas as needed.  .

About The Role:

• Cleaning, painting, maintenance and moving of industrial and office equipment as needed.
• Perform regular preventive/predictive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities based on established procedures
• Operate Heavy Equipment, Forklifts, Scissor Lifts or Boom lifts in a safe manner as per the Safety regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree with 3+ years of facilities experience 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or comparable experience in facilities maintenance in an industrial manufacturing/distribution environment.
• Intermediate ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC equipment. General knowledge of building Fire and Life Safety systems.
• Ability to perform general building maintenance as directed, such as lamp replacement, simple construction, wiring, repair of overhead doors and plumbing. 
• Must assist in maintaining accurate records and logs of various operations and equipment
• May be required to review and assist with construction and installation of systems and expansion of existing systems
