BASF’s Geismar site has 32 production units and manufactures more than 50 products for customers around the world.  The chemistry created at our Geismar site can be found in products people use every day such as cosmetics, medicines, clothing, electronics, cleaning supplies and others. 

As a Senior Production Manager, you will successfully steer the development of the Production and Technology teams, ensuring that production and project execution is safe, reliable, and cost-effective. Your leadership will result in the development of high performing teams comprised of approximately 40 engineering and technical direct and indirect reports.

As a Senior Production Manager, you will have budgetary responsibility, develop maintenance and turnaround plans, and drive safety and continuous improvement activities. 

As a Senior Production Manager for EO and Fuel Additives, you create chemistry by...

 

• Maintaining a culture of excellence in EHS and compliance.
• Developing goals, operational budgets, and capital plans to align with business and site strategies.
• Driving continuous improvement and digitalization efforts to optimize safety, compliance, asset reliability, profitability, and product quality.
• Demonstrating a strong customer focus and effective communication in managing multiple internal and external stakeholders. 
• Accountable for the direction, development, succession planning/knowledge transfer, and performance management of the Production and Technology Teams.

If you...

 

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 
• Have technical expertise in EO, additives or a chemical plant. 
• Have experience in a production environment and safety improvements.
