TMS Technician (Part-time/PRN)

Position Purpose: Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation sessions as prescribed for the treatment of depression and OCD.

Shift: This is a part-time PRN position averaging 15-30 hours per week. 

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Certified in CPR and AED within 90 days
• At least one year experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting preferred
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Above average computer/data entry skills

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Safely deliver TMS treatment sessions to patients in accordance with the prescribed treatment plan.
2. Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere that supports the therapeutic goals and needs of the patient.
3. Work scheduled hours to accommodate patient treatment sessions. Some variation in scheduled hours may be required to meet treatment needs.
4. Accurately enter and complete all required documentation into EHR in a timely manner.
5. Assist with scheduling patient treatment sessions as appropriate.
6. Maintain open and frequent communication with the TMS Coordinator and treating provider to ensure therapeutic value and patient response.
7. Administer appropriate mental health screenings/scales regularly to monitor client progress and response to treatment.
8. Assist the TMS Coordinator during TMS consultations as necessary.
9. Serve as a member of the team and participate in all team meetings and required trainings as assigned.
10. Understand and comply with the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
11. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
12. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
13. Assume any additional responsibilities as assigned.
