Richard Bland College (RBC) is a two-year, residential, liberal arts transfer institution that focuses on preparing students for transfer to highly ranked colleges and universities. The College is a hidden gem located outside the Tri-Cities region—and its rural setting featuring 750+ acres of wetlands, bucolic forest, and the state’s oldest and largest pecan grove.

RBC's Department of Campus Safety and Police is seeking an individual to fill an open Police Officer position within the department. The mission of the Richard Bland College Department of Campus Safety & Police is to provide a safe and secure living, learning, and working environment for the students, faculty, staff, and visitors of the College by actively pursuing a positive relationship with the campus community, preserving public order, providing emergency medical response, protecting the life and property of all, and providing education and training to law enforcement personnel and the College community.

The Department of Campus Safety and Police is community-oriented dedicated to the safety and security of the community we serve. The department is highly focused on a community policing model with core responsibilities of Integrity, Community Focus, Competence, and Impartial Policing.
