NHQPurpose
- The Senior Associate of Incentives will prepare, aggregate, and analyze sales and incentives related information for the company and the industry to support the Incentives Planning & Analysis department. This role will be responsible for compiling data from various internal and external sources, analyzing the information, and providing reports and recommendations for senior management. This will include information to justify new incentive programs, and to measure effectiveness of existing programs.
Major Responsibilities
- Forecasting/Budgeting: Manage monthly financial forecast using monthly HMF utilization rates and cost reports for budget tracking and Finance accrual purposes.
- Competitive Analysis: Utilize Internal Hyundai Motor America (HMA) and Industry Data Analysis to:
- Monitor incentive programs of competitive set vehicles at a national and regional level to determine competitiveness of HMA programs.
- Measure and analyze Hyundai Motor Finance Company (HMF) performance using 3rd part data (Such as JD Power PIN).
- Recommend Incentive enhancements based on analysis.
- KPI Reporting: Report Incentive Department KPIs and metrics (by manufacturer using external data and by HMA models using internal information). Utilize tool such as: Excel, Tableau, Python, SAP.
- Program Costing: Develop and cost ad hoc Incentive programs.
- Budget Tracking: Manage and Track Incentives spending Budget.
- Presentations: Prepare presentations for management utilizing Excel/PowerPoint/Tableau.

Authority
- This position will provide data analysis, gap analysis, and issue/problem identification.
- Responsible Incentive Budgetary Tracking and reconciliation.
- This is a support position, focused on delivering day to day tasks and analyses with a degree of autonomy while receiving general instructions and supervision.
- Exercise of discretion and independent judgment directly related to significant management and/or general business operations is not required.
Education
~ Must be a high school graduate~ Bachelor’s degree preferredRelated Experience
- Four or more years of experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
Skills/Knowledge
- Strong analytical skills.
- Expert in MS Excel.
- Proficient with PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience and/or proficiency with the following or other data tools are a Plus:
- Tableau, SQL, SAP, Python, Alteryx, PIN
- Navigator, PIN Explorer, Market Scan, Access.
