Description:

We continue to be committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds.  We are seeking a talented and motivated Supervisor, QA Disposition.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring direct reports to accomplish organizational and department priorities.  Oversee the QA batch disposition team and process to ensure compliance with batch disposition procedures and cGMP’s.  Is responsible for scheduling activities to support the supply chain process, including batches made on behalf of the company by third parties.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentors, leads, coaches, and develops employees; manages and addresses performance issues; and contributes to hiring, firing, and compensation decisions to ensure individual and organizational performance currently and in the future.
• Communicates site and department goals and expectations to staff.
• Sets goals and expectations for staff with their input.
• Ensures conditions (time, equipment, etc.) necessary for staff performance are met and barriers to performance are removed.
• Measures direct reports' core job/goal performance and contribution to team performance.
• Provides direct reports with feedback on performance.
• Collaborates with direct reports to identify and enable their skill and knowledge development.
• Rewards and recognizes staff and team performance to build engagement.
• Ensures direct report positions are filled timely with the best qualified candidate(s).
• Support audit readiness
• Manages a team responsible for batch disposition, including on the floor batch record review, for internally and externally produced product.  Must schedule resources to ensure batch disposition timelines support the supply chain process.
• Establishes/maintains a QA presence on the production floor, including ensuring physical presence of QA during manufacturing times and on-line batch record review.
• Responsible/accountable for batch review and final disposition.  This also includes the review of technical service reports, deviations, investigation, and repackaging instructions.
• Responsible/accountable for batch review and final disposition of batch records from 3rd parties, including incoming finished goods from other Hikma sites and CMO’s for distribution.
• Authors, reviews, and approves departmental and supply chain procedures.
• Regular onsite attendance required.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a scientific discipline)
• 5+ years combination of quality, production, engineering and/or laboratory experience, with demonstrated accomplishments in effectively implementing cGMP requirements.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of Supervisory experience.
