The Role! 


We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Director of Data & Artificial Intelligence to lead our data and analytics strategy within the IT organization. This role is pivotal in transforming our RCM operations through advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a collaborative leader, and a passionate advocate for innovation and continuous improvement.


What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day: 


Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Data & AI strategy aligned with enterprise RCM goals
  • Lead cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions
  • Champion a data-driven culture across the organization, promoting the value of analytics and AI in optimizing revenue cycle processes
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for automation, predictive modeling, and operational efficiency

Team Building & Development:

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data and AI professionals
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and career development paths for team members

Technical & Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics models, machine learning algorithms, and AI solutions tailored to RCM
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
  • Partner with IT infrastructure and data engineering teams to ensure scalable and secure data platforms
  • Drive the adoption of modern tools and technologies for data visualization, automation, and real-time analytics

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to RCM leadership, translating complex data insights into actionable strategies
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of data and AI initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with other departments to align Data and AI initiatives with business goals
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on infrastructure projects and performance

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Manage budgets and optimize resource utilization
  • Ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining high performance and security standards

Innovation and Trends:

  • Keep abreast of emerging cloud technologies and trends
  • Recommend and implement new tools and technologies to improve infrastructure operations
Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or AI, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or related domains
  • Strong understanding of data governance, machine learning, and cloud-based analytics platforms
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
