We are looking for an experienced business professional to lead our Performance Elevation journey, helping to create a culture of high performance across Palo Alto Networks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at all levels across the organization, familiar with all aspects of performance management, an expert at evolving the organization toward an always-on high performance approach, expertly driving us forward to progressive talent solutions, working collaboratively and effectively in a dynamic environment with compressed timelines. You should come with demonstrated experience leading complex talent projects with highly sensitive information and delivering simple, elegant solutions that surprise and delight customers. Building strong partnerships, creating an inclusive environment that a cross functional team can execute well in is a must. Exceptional communication and stakeholder  management skills, strong influencing skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.  

We expect office-based employees to be in the office four days per week, with one day working from where they choose. We believe being together facilitates casual conversations and those magic moments where we can work on issues and ideas informally. These moments build capability and deepen trusted relationships and allow our people to feel safe in taking risks and being disruptive. Like so many companies, we are working through the details and things could change …. but in general if a role is deemed office-based we want our teams to be together four days per week.

 

Your Impact  

  • Conduct job analyses to determine the knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics (e.g., competencies) required to succeed in critical roles within our Product organization
  • Develop success profiles to guide hiring and talent management processes across the Product organization
  • Support the development of selection and assessment solutions, with a particular focus on structured interviewing and technical assessments for Product-related roles (e.g., Software Engineer, Security Research Engineer, Data Scientist, Data Analyst)
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to design research studies and pilots focused on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the hiring process
  • Assist with developing and delivering training programs for recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers on updates and changes to the hiring process, including the effective use of assessment tools, interview techniques, and best practices
  • Apply your knowledge of statistical concepts to evaluate the effectiveness of assessment and training-related initiatives
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in selection and assessment to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of our talent acquisition strategies

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field (e.g., Organizational Behavior) or equivalent military experience required
