Roles and Responsibilities:

Job Summary/Overview:

Regulatory Compliance Responsibility: Position is responsible to ensure TGMS (Toxic Gas Monitoring Systems) and Loss Prevention systems satisfy local municipal code and conform to nationally recognized consensus standards including but not limited to UL and NFPA.

Specific Job Duties:

SAS sponsor and lead personnel for the TGMS design and install contractor team · Manage equipment purchase, storage, installation, testing, and commissioning process · Time and quality critical position for accurate, proper start-up and operation of the new Taylor Fab · Liaison with Taylor Fire Department and Taylor city inspectors for installation, commissioning, and compliance inspection of TGMS equipment.


Skills and Qualifications:

Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required

Bachelor of Science or related Engineering Degree

5-7+ years of technical training/expertise or equivalent experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools

The LSS Engineer role requires specific training and experience, including familiarity with the specialized systems and equipment, the capabilities and limitations of associated signaling controllers and alarm systems, and experience with partnering with local AHJ to maintain collaborative relationships.
