What You'll Do
Become part of a dynamic Merchandising organization by providing strong administrative and sample management support to the team. You’ll also share your creative ideas to help bring unique products into our omni-channel business. You will build relationships with the Buying, Visual Merchandising, eCommerce and Marketing teams to get a well-rounded experience. In this role, you will support the merchandising team in the following ways:
Business Support
- Create and set up SKUs within the Genesis
- Maintain sku details in the AS400 system
- Create the Ecommerce line list, gather product details from vendors, facilitate vendor photography submissions, create the photo line list, assist with copy proofing and website update requests in Asana
- Maintain attributes in Attributes system
- Gather product dimensions for visual displays
- Support Drop Ship stock level tracking
- Create content sheet submissions for seasonal shops
- Prepare for product review presentations creating labels, labeling products, building presentation boards, and helping with displays
- Generate Return to Vendor and vendor claim forms
- Create and maintain department photo line lists and flashcards
- Support quarterly merchandising and marketing presentations
- Support signage creation and main
- Provide ad hoc support for special projects, launches, and meetings
Sample Management
- Key driver of sample management: unpacking samples, logging, scanning labels for accuracy, and communicating new arrivals
- Support department sample organization
- Preparing samples for buyer’s weekly sample approvals
- Gather and turnover samples to visual, marketing and Ecommerce photo shoots
- Support vendor visits by assisting vendors with meeting preparation and sample tracking
Hybrid Work Location:
You will spend a minimum of 3 days per week on average at our Alameda, CA Home Office.
Experience & Skills You'll Bring
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible, results driven, and work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
- Detail-orientation with a high degree of accuracy and an ability to detect inconsistencies in data
- Working skillset of Microsoft Office Suite tools including Excel, Word and PowerPoint (e.g. format sheets, embed hyperlinks, create and maintain formulas, graphs, charts, and presentations)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and work in a team environment
CA Pay range is $27.41 - $28.40 per hour
Full time and Part time associates are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan after three (3) months of service.
