The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $60,000.00 to $71,250.00.

This position is Exempt under the FLSA.

About the Position

The IT Business Systems Analyst acts as a liaison between management, users and technical professionals.  The Business Analyst position provides functional analysis of judicial and business processes used to conduct operations and is responsible for the identification, development and recommendation of business process changes and improvements.

Position Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Public Administration, Computer Science, or an IT or Social Science related field

Experience:

  • One (1) year of professional business systems analysis experience identifying, developing, and recommending business processes or system improvements.

OR

Combined education and experience qualifications:

  • An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and job-related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis

Our Preferred Candidate has:

  • Experience working with a criminal justice case management system

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Knowledge of:

  • Court case management systems or similar systems

Skill in:

  • Creating business process documentation of business processes to communicate process improvement opportunities

  • Manipulating software to design and create documents

  • Writing business communications

  • Creating technical software requirements design documents

Ability to:

  • Create business process documentation to communicate process improvement opportunities

  • Communicate information and ideas, both verbally and in writing in a way that is appropriate to the needs of the audience

  • Relate on the appropriate level to business staff, technical staff, and end users
