We are seeking a future team member for the role of Product Manager to join our Global Collateral Platform. This role is in New York, NY.
The experienced individual will focus on developing and enhancing products on our Global Collateral Platform focusing on U.S. government securities financing markets. The candidate should understand fixed income financing markets, the role Central Counterparties (CCP’s) play in the market, and the types of collateral products and services that are important in the market. The candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the SEC’s U.S. Treasury Central Clearing rule working with existing and new CCP’s. The individual will collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as CCP’s to develop/build out products to support financing and liquidity markets and the central clearing mandate. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, CCP’s, regulatory bodies and market participants to ensure our products support the central clearing mandate, and access to the models offered by CCP’s.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Product Development: Lead the development and enhancement of products that facilitate U.S. fixed income financing, related CCP products and services and compliance with the U.S. Treasury Central Clearing Mandate
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with CCP’s, market participants, regulators, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, design and launch products, including those that align with clearing requirements.
- Project Management: Oversee the implementation of product initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of project goals.
- CCP’s & Market Participants: Provide expert support and guidance to CCP’s and market participants regarding U.S. governments securities financing markets, the Treasury market and central clearing mandate.
To be successful in this role, we are seeking the following:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of experience in product management, financial services, or related field with experience/expertise in government securities financing/repo markets.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the U.S. Treasury market, fixed income financing and collateral markets, and foundational knowledge of the SEC’s U.S. Treasury central clearing rule.
- Skills: Excellent Project Management, analytical and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- People Leadership: Ability to lead and provide direction to colleagues within and across PODs.
