This is a non-union positionEnbridge is looking for an experienced Senior Pipeline Integrity Engineer – Coatings/Corrosion , you will be responsible for development of standards and procedures for areas related to pipeline coatings, internal corrosion, and other corrosion related pipeline integrity issues across the Gas Transmission Midstream (GTM) system in both the U.S. and Canada). The Senior Pipeline Integrity Engineer – Coatings/Corrosion will also be expected to provide technical support and expertise in the above-mentioned technical areas to various groups and departments in the company including Pipeline Integrity, Operations and Major Projects (Engineering and Construction).

Here’s what you will do:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the GTM standard procedures for the below:
- Painting and coating of GTM pipelines and facilities in US and Canada for design, construction, operation, and maintenance.
- Pipeline integrity program for both US and Canada for assessments, operation, and maintenance as they relate to coating related activities.
- Maintain standards and deviation request for both US and Canada for design, construction, operation, and maintenance.
- Provide technical support and final approval to SCM during vendor qualification activities.
- Pipe characterization in the ditch (corrosion / mechanical damage) or in the lab.
- Determine operational issues with coatings specifications (including standards).
- Participate in the Corrosion organization (AMPP) committees to develop standards and attending conferences.
- Participate in the CSA organization to develop standards for facilities in Canada and in the SGA (Southern Gas Association) by working on the committee to put together program for that annual conference.
- Conduct the annual bell hole technician training for contractor and in-house personnel.
- Assist other Asset Integrity Engineering team members with program and initiative management.
Who you are:
You have:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering and PE registration (P Eng. if located in Canada)
- Minimum of 6+ years of Engineering experience that includes pipeline coating experience
- Proficiency with relevant regulatory codes and standards.
- Drive disciplined analysis through utilizing computer software, excel spreadsheets and data analysis tools necessary to conduct detailed data analyses.
- Embrace change through the ability to seek process improvements
- Communicate effectively with excellent presentation and technical writing skills

- Programming experience
Working Conditions:
- This position is office based with occasional requirements to travel to field excavations, industry committees/conferences, and other office locations.
- Travel 10% of the time

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
