Primary Purpose:
Contributes to the success of Nova Southeastern University (NSU) by providing strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of undergraduate and graduate student recruitment, admissions, and enrollment operations. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and Associate Provost, the AVP will develop and implement innovative and data-driven strategies to achieve the institution's enrollment goals and ensure a positive and seamless experience for prospective students and their families.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates work activities of subordinates and staff, including hiring, coaching, evaluating, and terminating, in accordance with University policies and procedures.
2. Develops, implements, and regularly evaluates a comprehensive strategic enrollment plan aligned with NSU’s mission, strategic goals, and financial objectives. This includes setting enrollment targets, forecasting trends, and analyzing data to inform decision-making.
3. Provides visionary leadership and direction to the undergraduate and graduate admissions teams, ensuring the development and execution of effective recruitment strategies, application review processes, and yield initiatives.
4. Utilizes data analytics and market research to identify prospective student markets, evaluates the effectiveness of recruitment activities, and makes data-informed decisions regarding admissions criteria, scholarship allocation, and communication strategies.
5. Develops and implements strategies to attract and enroll a diverse student body, reflecting the institution's commitment to inclusivity and equity.
6. Collaborates with Financial Aid and Academic Records to develop and implement strategies for the effective leveraging of financial aid and scholarships to maximize enrollment and student access.
7. Oversees the effective use of technology and CRM systems to streamline enrollment processes, enhance communication with prospective students, and improve data management and reporting.
8. Partners closely with the Public Relations, Marketing, and Creative Services team to develop compelling messaging and marketing campaigns that effectively reach target audiences and enhance the institution's brand reputation.
9. In conjunction with the Deans of Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions, develops and manages the enrollment management budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated strategically to achieve enrollment goals.
10. Builds strong relationships and collaborates effectively with faculty, staff, alumni, and external partners to support enrollment efforts.
11. Ensures compliance with all relevant federal, state, and institutional regulations related to admissions and enrollment.
12. Prepares and presents regular reports on enrollment trends, outcomes, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership.
13. Completes special projects as assigned.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge:
1. Advanced knowledge of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regarding student privacy and protection regulations.
2. Extensive knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations, including loans and debt management information.
3. Administration and Management - Advanced knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, budgeting, human resources planning, and leadership.
4. Personnel and Human Resources – Advanced knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, and supervision.
