Seasonal HR Assistant

ROLE OVERVIEW 

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Assistant to join our team at our Las Vegas Distribution Center. This role supports the daily operations of the HR department and acts as a key point of contact for employees. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, approachable, and able to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse environment.

 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Perform clerical functions for the HR staff including maintaining accurate employment files
• Process status changes, terminations, and update employee information in HR systems.
• Support payroll processing through data entry and coordination with the payroll team.
• Review and maintain employee files
• Compile data from the HRIS system and prepare reports
• Screen telephone calls and incoming mail
• Perform other related duties as assigned

 

WHERE YOU’LL WORK AND WHAT’S REQUIRED:

• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Ability to work overtime as needed

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in an HR support role; warehouse/distribution environment a plus.
• Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Oracle, Dimensions).
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
