About the role

Description

Reporting to the Managing Shareholder or CFO and accountable to the Executive Committee and Shareholders, the IT Director is responsible for the smooth and efficient technical operations of KerberRose and its owned entities. The IT Director will collaborate with the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Financial Officer as well as the IT Committee to lead and develop the IT Strategic Plan and Roadmap. The IT Director will have a strong business and analysis acumen to solve problems in a complex system. The IT Director will have an ongoing impact on KR’s technology operations and infrastructure, including responsibility for the security of the data and infrastructure of KR. The IT Director will provide leadership through clear and effective communication skills. This will be accomplished by effectively executing the responsibilities below.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead technology management of the Organization, including a collaborative approach with Shareholders and senior leadership.
  • Develops and fosters effective technology collaboration between offices/service lines to ensure a one-firm concept fulfilling the organizations objectives.
  • Monitors changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the organization can gain a competitive advantage
  • Develops/maintains relationships with strategic IT vendors
  • Partners with operational leaders to select and implement suitable technology to streamline operations 
  • Participates in strategic planning and development of new business strategies to enhance sustainability of the Organization
  • Create, advise, and support an IT Strategic Plan
  • Manages and assists other IT team members as needed
  • Leads the analysis of costs, values, and risks of information technology to advise senior leadership and suggest actions - manages all costs for information technology and services across KR and KR Entities
  • Manages, reviews, negotiates, and approves IT-related contracts
  • Chairperson for the IT Committee. Creating agenda and facilitating meetings and ongoing research and decisions
  • Acts as the CISO for KR, Leading the organizational efforts to manage and mitigate information security risk
  • Evaluate the company’s adherence to federal technology requirements for security
  • Provide recommendations on software and hardware updates
  • Supports end-users and stands in for front line IT staff when necessary
  • Provide leadership and direction to an information technology team
  • Works to increase user satisfaction.
  • Assesses need for new equipment and software.
  • Represents KR within the general community
  • Uses Information Systems to their full capability
  • Duties as defined by specific department (if applicable)

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology with management emphasis, Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in Technology at the administrative level required. Emphasis on accounting Technology
