Position Summary:
KBR is seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to drive the Secretary of War’s (SecWar) Acquisition Transformation Initiatives within the Armament Directorate. This role is central to modernizing how the Directorate oversees and executes its mission through acquisition, organizational and digital transformation. The successful candidate will lead the development of standardized organizational processes, architect data fusion strategies for advanced decision-making, and provide strategic support for the next generation of weapon systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Directorate-level acquisition and digital transformation initiatives designed to modernize oversight and execution for advanced weapon programs.
- Design, document, and institutionalize streamlined organizational processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to modernize the acquisition lifecycle across the Directorate.
- Drive the enterprise-wide implementation of revised workflows, managing organizational change to ensure cross-functional adoption and alignment with SecWar transformation goals.
- Partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the Directorate to champion transformation initiatives, secure executive buy-in, and ensure new processes align with overarching mission objectives.
- Lead comprehensive organizational change management efforts, guiding personnel through operational transitions and actively addressing resistance to ensure the seamless adoption of digital tools and modernized workflows.
- Act as a strategic advisor to division heads during the rollout of standardized processes, providing tailored guidance to smoothly integrate new methodologies across diverse, high-visibility weapon system portfolios.
- Architect and execute data fusion strategies that integrate disparate technical, financial, manufacturing, and programmatic data streams into a centralized "single source of truth."
- Leverage data-driven insights to develop predictive metrics and advanced analytics, enabling leadership to make informed, high-stakes decisions on next-gen weapon systems.
- Engineer automated reporting frameworks and dashboards that eliminate data silos and provide real-time visibility into program health, risks, and execution status.
- Serve as the primary task lead for a multi-disciplinary team providing direct mission support to Government leadership at the division level.
- Support the development of comprehensive program strategies, execution plans, and long-term roadmaps aligned with evolving mission priorities.
- Synthesize complex technical, cost, schedule, and contracting data to support high-level acquisition decision analysis and strategic planning.
- Integrate program efforts across multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders to ensure total alignment of priorities, schedules, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with Government personnel and external organizations to facilitate streamlined program execution and strategic communication.
- Lead strategic communications activities, including the development of executive messaging, talking points, and high-visibility briefing materials.
- Develop and deliver technical briefings, assessments, and decision support materials tailored for senior Government stakeholders.
- Oversee preparation for major program reviews, leadership engagements, site visits, and mission-critical events.
- Proactively identify programmatic issues and integration challenges, providing expert mitigation strategies and recommended courses of action.

- Location: On-site (Eglin AFB, FL)
- Travel Requirements: Low, 10-15%
