Job Description

The Junior Communications Coordinator will support Veritas Recruiters by developing and executing internal and external communications. 

Job: On site

Location: Birmingham, AL

Pay: $51.000 - $62.500 per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, edit, and proofread content for press releases, newsletters, internal memos, and company announcements.
• Assist in coordinating media relations, including managing press inquiries and maintaining relationships with media contacts.
• Support internal communications to keep employees informed of company updates, events, and achievements.
• Plan and execute communication strategies for special projects, community outreach events, and company milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with basic project management tools.
