Position Title: Staff Accountant
Department: Finance Manager: Controller
Tier Level: 30 FLSA: Exempt

Essential Functions:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger account reconciliations for all types of accounts, including cash, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets and intangibles, to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger reliability.
- Improve accounting systems by creating useful suggestions, reports, reconciliations, and analysis.
- Manage ASC 842 Lease Compliance.
- Maintain Fixed Asset Rollforward.
- Maintain Sales Tax Compliance with multiple states.
- Assist with financial statement preparation for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including consolidations.
- Provide support for researching and problem solving for outstanding accounting issues.
- Assist with the annual external financial audit.
- Assist with inventory counts and monthly reporting.
- Cross-train duties with AP/AR Lead.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous Work Experience:
- Minimum of three years’ experience in full cycle accounting position with demonstrated competency in account reconciliations required.
- 2 years+ of Inventory and Cost Accounting experience preferred.
- 2 years+ of Fixed Asset Rollforward experience preferred.2 years+ of sales and use tax calculation and filing experience preferred. Intermediate Office 365 (Word, Outlook) skills required.
- Proficient with advanced Excel functions including Xlookups and Pivot Tables required.Previous experience with accounting functions in an ERP system required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time or more.
- Must be able to operate a computer 50% of the time or more.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to work well with others and communicate efficiently and effectively.
- Must be self-driven with an ability to start and complete projects independently or within a group.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language proficiently to ensure compliance with our ISO 13485 procedures.
