Seeking a Software Business Analyst who takes ownership of defining solutions, understands technical concepts (including some code), and excels at creating clear, actionable documentation for technical teams.

This is not a data analyst role—we’re seeking candidates with experience in solutioning and technical ownership for complex software systems.

Key Details

• Pay: $31.25 - $45.67 per hour. This is an hourly paid role where manually clocking in and out is required.
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation & sick leave.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, Pacific Time hours.
  • Start time can be either 6, 7 or 8AM PST.
• Remote: 100% remote (Note: Equipment is not provided by the company)

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Software Business Analyst to work on enhancing existing software systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in solutioning, takes ownership of technical challenges, and collaborates closely with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders.

You’ll gather requirements from internal and external clients, translate them into detailed technical documentation, and play a key role in ensuring solutions are implemented effectively.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Business Analyst or Business Analyst working on complex software systems (preferably SaaS).
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering, solutioning, technical documentation, and some hands-on testing.
• Proficiency with tools like Jira, Postman, and MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across teams and with external clients.
