McIntosh Box and Pallet is hiring for a 2nd Yard Jockey in Benson, NC!

We are looking for an talented individual with strong organizational skills and attention to detail to join our team as a Yard Jockey in Benson NC.

Pay: $15 and up per hour depending on experience

A Yard Jockey will be responsible for assisting in moving and spotting equipment required to facilitate the needs of our plant in organizing and processing material for shipment or storage. The responsibilities of Yard Jockeys include trailer sanitation, moving equipment, and conducting daily inspections. 

Yard Jockey's job Responsibilities:

• Move trailers from dock to dock and into the yard
• Inventory control
• Safely drive the yard hostler and trailers around the yard
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to operate trucks and flatbeds

• Experience operating different trucks and flatbeds.

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
