The role, at a glance: 

Biamp is seeking a talented, self-motivated IT Support Technician II who can take ownership and be the face of the IT department for our Chester location. While you will be the sole IT professional on-site, you are a crucial and integrated member of our collaborative global IT team headquartered in Beaverton, OR.

How you’ll contribute: 

• Serve as the primary IT partner for our Chester site, building strong relationships with local management and end-users to understand their unique needs and challenges

• Provide exceptional IT support to about 100 local users, resolving issues with hardware, software, and applications with a friendly and professional demeanor

• Lead the local implementation of corporate IT initiatives, acting as the "boots on the ground" to ensure seamless execution in partnership with the global team.

• Administer and maintain on-site IT infrastructure, including Windows Servers, and networking equipment

• Create and maintain clear documentation for site-specific procedures, assets, and resolutions.

A successful candidate should have:  

• Minimum of 2+ years in an IT administration role, with a proven track record of supporting a diverse user base.

• Proficiency in Windows Server administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, File/Print services).

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Entra, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune) and Windows 10/11 environments.

• Experience with endpoint management, software deployment, and patch management.

• Associates degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience

Work Environment:

• Ability to at times lift up to 25 pounds.

• Stand or sit for long periods. Bend, stoop, maneuver through the facility as needed

• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
