A caregiver in this position works evenings from 5:00PM – 1:30AM, including every 3rd weekend and every other holiday.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Supervise the functions, daily operations and caregivers in the Environmental Services department.
Implement goals consistent with assigned clinical and non-clinical units.
Provide effective utilization of personnel, policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe and attractive environment.
Continuously inspect assigned areas to ensure high quality cleaning and maintenance is being performed.
Maintain staffing levels and approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests.
Ensure cross coverage.
Coordinate and provide orientation, education and training.
Improve procedures and processes.
Analyze workflow and procedures and recommend changes, as appropriate.
Provide recommendations to improve speed, quality and effectiveness of the department procedures.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High School Diploma or GED
One year of experience as a Work Leader, Team Lead, Project Manager or Supervisor OR a Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Restaurant experience
Previously managed three or more employees
