Financial Rating Analyst Intern
SCORAbout the role
You will be in charge of enhancing the quarterly reporting process of rating capital models. In particular, along with the closing and operating plan processes you will review and analyse deviations compared to the plan and update projections. You will also contribute to regular analysis on SCOR’s rating for the top management and ad-hoc analyses on key projects.
Within the “Investor relations and rating agencies” department, you will be involved in all matters
related to the rating of SCOR:
- Analysis, monitoring and calculation of key indicators, both qualitative and quantitative, that
enter into account in the credit rating of the Group by the Agencies (Liquidity, leverage
ratios, ROE, ...), - Ratings benchmark analysis on competitive position, financial strength, enterprise risk
management, etc. - Active participation to the quarterly reporting process to the Top Management and Board Members, including rating models runs and KPIs follow-up
- Active participation in the year-end actuals capital position analysis and in the quarterly reporting process of the rating capital models (including S&P RFC model and other models).
In particular, along with the closing and operating plan processes you will review and analyze
deviations compared to the plan and update projections. Strong involvement in the team daily activities and high visibility across the Group. Main contact for internal communication regarding rating agencies’ publications. You may also be involved in confidential projects of the Financial Division
- You are ideally enrolled in a Finance / insurance master with a strong interest in the insurance sector
- Strong financial background, Insurance knowledge appreciated
- Strong IT skills: Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is required
