We are currently seeking an Azure Cloud Architect to join our team remotely in the United States.
We are looking for an experienced cloud architect with a strong background in creating, deploying and hosting language models on public and private cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design AI solutions based on language models.
- Utilize expertise in either OpenAI or Google Vertex to implement state-of-the-art language models.
- Host and deploy language models on-premise using OpenShift and GPU infrastructure.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into enterprise applications.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and contribute to the continuous improvement of our AI solutions.
- Provides guidance on cloud adoption frameworks and methodologies, standards and best practices
- Recommend solution to internal/external stakeholders (director level and above) clearly articulating the pros and cons of various solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentoring for team members and review their deliverables for quality and thoroughness
- Proactively communicate with program/project managers by identifying, mitigate risks, Issues, and assumptions throughout full lifecycle
Basic Qualifications:
- Architect Cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Certification
- 5+ years hands on cloud architecture experience
- 1+ years experience in either Azure OpenAI or Google Vertex
Preferred Skills:
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze and operate at various levels of abstraction
- Strong technical architecture skills, enabling workable/realistic solutions
- Commendable interpersonal skills and organizational skills that are required to operate as a leading member of global, distributed teams that deliver quality services
- Ability to rapidly gain knowledge of the organizational structure of the firm to facilitate work with groups outside of the immediate technical team.
- Expected to be well informed of emerging technologies in cloud and their potential application in the customer environment / impact analysis
- Architect Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) as well as Red Hat OpenShift Certifications are highly desirable
Preferred Experience:
- Cloud architect with proven experience in architecting and designing technical solutions based on industry standards using IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities.
- Hands-on experience in customization and implementation of modern cloud architecture for maximum flexibility, extensibility, and maintainability using Microsoft Azure.
- Experience in developing and deploying language models, with a focus on LLMs.
- Experience in either Azure OpenAI or Google Vertex for implementing advanced language models.
- Strong expertise in Docker and Kubernetes. Managing high availability and efficient deployment of cloud-native applications.
- Experience with hosting LLMs on-premise using Red Hat OpenShift and GPU infrastructure.
- Experience with GitOps principles and tools, such as Git, Tekton, Flux, or ArgoCD, for managing infrastructure and application deployments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Hands on experience with IaC development and deployment (ARM, blueprints, Terraform, Ansible, etc).
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $121,800 to $281,900. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
