THE ROLE & THE TEAM: Crafting Exceptional Product Experiences

Within Zalando's dynamic engineering landscape, the Client Engineering Reference Experience team plays a pivotal role in shaping how our customers interact with our extensive product catalog. Our core focus is to create an online shopping journey that is not only inspirational and visually engaging but also empowers customers to confidently discover and ultimately purchase the products they desire. We are deeply invested in ensuring a delightful unboxing experience, meticulously striving to ensure that the physical products received perfectly align with and exceed the expectations set during the online browsing and purchasing process.
We achieve this by fundamentally redefining how products are presented to our online audience. Our team is responsible for building and continuously refining customer-facing features that are seamlessly integrated into the product detail page. As a React Native Engineer joining our Apps Reference Experience team, you will be instrumental in extending our mission-critical work to our mobile applications. You will operate at the forefront of innovation, directly influencing how we define, develop, and own captivating user experiences for our millions of app users. You will become an integral part of a diverse and collaborative team, where knowledge sharing is encouraged, and a collective drive to deliver significant customer impact at scale is paramount. WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING): 

• Actively involved in the end-to-end lifecycle of Android and iOS applications, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of high-quality software using both native and React Native technologies to deliver exceptional user experiences.

• Share expertise, develop skills collaboratively, and contribute to team knowledge to consistently deliver the best user experience.
