Job Description and Hours

The individual selected for this role will be responsible for all kitchen cleanup including dishwashing, storage of leftovers, removal of trash and general cleaning duty tasks throughout the center.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Perform cleaning of all areas of the center to meet company standards, DHHS, and CDC guidelines.
2. Sweep and mop floors and clean bathrooms, dust furniture, and wipe down surfaces.
3. Clean and disinfect furniture, walls, ceilings, equipment, etc.
4. Cleaning of bathrooms is mandatory.
5. Report maintenance needs and incidents to the manager.
6. Store supplies in designated locations; report any shortages to the Director as necessary.
7. Follow-up on the cleanliness of assigned areas and the effectiveness of maintenance staff; report any issues to the Director as necessary.
8. Regular attendance is an essential requirement of the position to offer children and parents consistency.
OTHER JOB DUTIES:
1. Other job duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
1. High School Diploma/ GED.
2. Must be 18 years of age or older.

2. Exhibit solid organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
3. Maintain a positive and professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic.

5. Previous cleaning experience required.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following safety guidelines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

2. Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, squat, walk, sit, stand, pull, push, carry, reach, and grasp.
