Position Overview – Server
We’re looking for enthusiastic and professional servers who are passionate about delivering warm, attentive, and memorable service. As a server at The Boiler House, you’ll guide guests through our menu, ensure every detail of service is handled with care, and contribute to the overall atmosphere that makes dining with us special.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, prompt, and professional service to all guests.
- Thoroughly know and communicate the menu, including daily features, beer, wine, and cocktail offerings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and surrounding areas.
- Follow all opening, closing, and sidework duties.
- Work closely with the bar, kitchen, and management team to ensure seamless service.
- Uphold Southerleigh Hospitality Group’s service standards at all times.
Key Qualifications
- Previous full-service restaurant experience required; fine dining or upscale casual experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food, beer, wine, and craft cocktails (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Current TABC and Texas Food Handler certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Southerleigh Fine Food and Brewery:
The first Southerleigh restaurant, Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery, was launched by renowned Chef Jeff Balfour in April 2015. Located in the heart of one of the most valuable and recognizable modern-day developments in the U.S. called “Pearl”, based on its late-1800’s start as a beer production facility and now the jewel of the food scene in San Antonio, Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery, quickly became the recipe of success preparing smart exceptional comfort food and sought-after hand-crafted beers.
