We’re currently looking for a Senior Manager, SAP S4 Transformation to join our team at our Nissan Americas HQ in Franklin, TN.

The Senior Manager of S4 Transformation serves as a key partner and leader to business process owners for Nissan America’s internal functions. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading all tactical solution delivery in support of Nissan’s internal digital transformation of our corporate functions as well as leading the technology and data streams for our employee engagement transformation across the whole of the Americas Region. The Senior Manager will partner and work closely with regional business leadership to understand the overall business strategy and lead the effective solution delivery / technology roadmap in support of that strategy.
 

The Senior Manager is expected to understand Nissan business strategies and initiatives to develop information technology strategies and roadmaps. They will manage teams of individuals whose primary objectives are to coordinate with the business units and information system (IS) vendors, facilitate application or technical infrastructure development, manage ongoing application or infrastructure production support, and participate in budget planning. Manages coordination with Nissan HQ in Japan (NML) and the Americas affiliate companies as required for specific projects. Identifies, implements, and manages policies, procedures, and processes that contribute to the organization’s objectives.



Job Functions:

Responsible for leading all tactical solution delivery in support of Nissan’s internal digital transformation of our corporate functions as well as leading the technology and data streams for our employee engagement transformation across the whole of the Americas Region. The Senior Manager will partner and work closely with regional business leadership to understand the overall business strategy and lead the effective solution delivery / technology roadmap in support of that strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

Job Knowledge and Skill:
Excellent understanding of Nissan’s global and regional strategic and tactical business plans, strategies, objectives, and priorities as they link to IS’ application architecture framework and standards.  Thorough / in-depth working knowledge of infrastructure technology planning & cost optimization for all technology platforms such as mainframe, web, server, storage, communication, and security technologies.
 

Communication Skills:
Very strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong ability to discuss architecture in a business / financial context and deliver presentations to the executive level. Must be able to interact with other regions, defend positions diplomatically, and build consensus for global architectures.
 

Experience:

  • 15 or more years of related experience at a professional level.
  • Systems integration consulting or system engineering leadership experience for managed infrastructure service providers a plus.
  • Digital Transformation experience preferred Including five or more years in a managerial role, providing strategy, vision and direction.
  • Activities of subordinates or contractors varied considerably in objective and content and encompassed more than one discipline.
     

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred. Technology, Management or Program/project management certifications a plus.  Cloud Practitioner certification is preferred.
