Media Production Specialist

Position Overview: The Media Production Specialist is responsible for the creation of video-based courses for the Course Design and Production team. They are accountable for producing professional quality audio and video content that adheres to industry standards. They must possess excellent video production skills – from videography to studio production to post-production. The Course Production Specialist serves in various video production roles such as pre-production liaison, video director, producer, and post-production editor. 

What You'll Do

• Own the course creation process from start to finish.
• Ensure that PowerPoint presentations are formatted correctly, uploaded to the proper folders, and ready for course recording.
• Work closely with SME and Live Training Coordinator to schedule appropriate amount of time needed to record course content
• Able to work in both the studio and post-production environments.
• Publish finished courses to CDN and to LMS
• Practice impeccable management and tracking of course materials and video assets
• Maintain organized directories for all course materials.
• Observe established naming and cataloging procedures for files.
• Clean up hard drive promptly and back-up as necessary.
• Upload and archive all video assets properly.
• Embrace effective and timely communication with all members of the team as necessary.
• Communicate regularly with Director and Production Manager regarding progress on content creation.
• Deliver professional and respectful communication with all SMEs and course authors.
• Ensure regular attendance and participation in team and company meetings.
• Be an encouraging and calming influence for course authors in the studio and remotely.
• Actively participate in regular company meetings.
• Represent Colibri clinical learning excellence among healthcare associations, conferences, and professional groups.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• BA in Video/Film Production or equivalent work experience. 
• Minimum 5 years of professional-level production experience including, but not limited to field and studio camera experience, podcast production, post-production editing, live and/or live-to-tape control room experience 
• Adode Creative Suite skills a must. 
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and meet timelines. 
• Strong interpersonal and superior written skills. 
• Commitment to excellence and high-performance standards. 
• Ability to successfully adjust to meet changing demands.
