Overview:

Engineering is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the Bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration. It may also involve taking functional oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments. Work includes

  • Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals, building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle

  • Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions

  • Ensuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow

  • Reviewing engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and improve engineering capability

  • Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools and solutions in the Bank

What You’ll Do

  • Participate in the deployment of ML models to production environments, utilizing tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Assist in building and maintaining ML pipelines for automated model training, evaluation, and deployment

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable and reliable ML infrastructure

  • Assist in the development and implementation of machine learning models using various algorithms and techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning)

  • Contribute to feature engineering, data preprocessing, and model selection processes and experiment with different model architectures and hyperparameters to optimize performance

Skills to Help you Excel

  • Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

  • Moderate experience with large datasets, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Skills You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required

  • Moderate experience in a relevant role (e.g., AI/ML Engineer, Data Scientist, Software Engineer with ML focus)

  • Proficiency in Python. Familiarity with other languages (e.g., Java, Scala, R) is a plus ; Experience with popular ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL) and NoSQL databases

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their ML services.

  • Experience with data processing tools and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Spark, or Dask ; Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools for continuous integration/continuous deployment containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes). Proficient with Git and related version control workflows
