About the role

Purpose & Impact
As Associate Performance Lead, you will execute full funnel performance marketing and digital shelf optimization across Unilever Beauty & Wellbeing (B&W) brands on Amazon including TRESemmé, Nexxus, Vaseline, Dove, SheaMoisture and other category-leading brands. You will be responsible for hands-on campaign activation and optimization, digital shelf excellence, and performance analysis to drive measurable growth in sales, share, and profitability.
Operating within the Media & Retailer Marketing team, you will help accelerate Unilever’s shift toward performance-led, consumer-centric retail marketing, partnering closely with Brand, Sales, Finance, and agency teams to translate strategy into best-in-class execution.

What You’ll Do
Amazon Strategy & Execution
• Execute tactical Amazon plans in alignment with the brand and performance strategy.
• Optimize media and content based on strategic guidance, ensuring seamless execution across touchpoints.
Media Investment & ROI
• Activate and optimize Amazon Ads campaigns across search and display.
• Monitor spend vs. return daily/weekly; flag risks and opportunities.
• Report performance, trends, and next steps to stakeholders.
Performance Analysis
• Conduct deep data analysis across POS, media, traffic, conversion, and profitability.
• Identify trends and performance drivers; provide data-backed input for strategic decisions.
Innovation & Launch Support
• Execute launch plans for new B&W products on Amazon.
• Update PDPs, detail pages, A+ content, and merchandising based on launch requirements.
Digital Shelf Optimization
• Oversee content updates across PDP assets, copy, SEO, and brand store.
• Manage site merchandising and support promotional strategy execution.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure best-in-class digital shelf presence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Support coordination across brand, sales, finance, and media teams.
• Contribute to planning sessions with insights, execution updates, and data.
• Partner with customer and culture squad teams to align on brand priorities.
Competitor & Market Monitoring
• Conduct deep dives on competitors, category shifts, pricing, and promotional patterns.
• Share insight summaries that inform tactical adjustments.

Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, retail media, ecommerce, digital marketing, or analytics.
• Hands on execution experience with Amazon ecosystem including Vendor/Seller Central, Ads, DSP, and AMC.
• Familiarity with POS data and retail measurement tools (e.g., Circana, Numerator, or similar syndicated and retailer-provided datasets)
• Strong proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
• Comfort working with large datasets and making data-led decisions.
• Experience in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $88,600 to $133,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
