Position Title: IT Sr. Business Analyst – Finance, HR and Procurement

Position Location: Florist Tower, 5757 N Green Bay Avenue, Glendale, WI 53209

Travel: 30% travel required (25% domestic & 5% international)

Days / Hours: Mon – Fri / 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Summary of Duties: Design and improve business processes and ERP (SAP or QAD) system applications for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounting, Project Systems, Product Costing and Profitability Analysis. Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones. Follow proper escalation paths. Manage customer and supplier relationships. Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results. Work closely with the business community to understand current processes, develop innovative solutions, prioritize demands and provide guidance for key users. Work on various interfaces with SAP third party systems and boundary systems. Coordinate with other client teams including PMO, Middleware, Engineering, BI, Basis and Security. Provide leadership to team members and peers. Articulate ideas and viewpoints to leadership, peers and others. Identify and initiate projects, managing external resources and driving issue resolution.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study and 6 years of progressive experience in Financial Business Analysis. Employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study and 4 years of experience in Financial Business Analysis, in lieu of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 6 years of progressive experience.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with:

1) 5 years of experience with SAP ERP, focused in finance configuration and support;

2) 5 years of experience working in SAP General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Product Costing and Profitability Analysis;

3) 2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP;

4) Global deployment of SAP;

5) Parallel accounting for Fixed Assets, GAAP and tax depreciation;

6) SAP integration with other modules such as Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Sales & Distribution (SD) or any other equivalent modules;

7) SAP cutover activities and data conversion;

8) Various interfaces within SAP and third party systems;

9) SAP New GL, Document Splitting and Segment Reporting;

10) Testing tools such as HP ALM, JIRA or any other equivalent tools; and

11) Creating and providing End User Trainings.

Any and all experience may be gained concurrently. For skills #1 and #2, employer will accept 4 years of experience when qualifying with a Master's degree.
