Position Duties
Essential Functions
Receive, record and dispense inventory via a requisition process from Facilities trades.
Deliver custodial supplies to residence halls and administrative departments as needed.
Oversee, manage and distribute employee uniforms.
Perform periodic routine inventory counts.
Generate requisitions for replenishment of supplies in inventory.
Maintain inventory levels and monitor use.
Receive shipments of supplies and equipment; records receipt in Loyola's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS Infor).
Assist with snow removal.
Education Required
High school diploma or GED
Education Preferred
Vocational or technical training or bachelor's degree
Other Professional Licensures
Valid Drivers License

Describe Required Experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience operating and maintaining inventory in a warehouse environment. Significant experience and demonstrable skill in computer operated receiving and inventory control. General equipment maintenance skills. Ability to safely operate a variety of trucks, forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, etc.
Competent use of small hand tools. Reporting and record keeping skills. Requires well-developed interpersonal communication skills with administration, parents, students and co-workers.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to all safety standards established by national agencies and the University. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required. Must be able to successfully complete driver’s clearance process. Ability to support the mission and values of a Catholic Jesuit education, as well as University goals for institutional diversity.

Physical/Environmental Example
This position demands the ability to lift heavy furniture (up to 100 pounds) up several flights of stairs. It requires the ability to operate a variety of trucks, forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks and hand tools. There is the potential for exposure to toxic and hazardous chemicals as well as extremes in temperature.
