Working Supervisor - Graphic Services

The Working Supervisor - Graphic Services is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the adherence to established production schedules, maximizing operational efficiency, and maintaining quality and safety standards within the designated area of responsibility. This role involves direct-line supervision of hourly co-workers, contributing to their performance, morale, and overall development.

Working Supervisor - Graphic Services Required Experience

• All Serigraph employees are responsible for quality with the authority to halt production to address quality concerns, and the Production Supervisor ensures timely communication with management regarding non-conforming products or processes.
• Enforce good housekeeping practices, safety rules, and accident reporting in line with company policies. Ensure compliance with customer quality expectations.
• Ensure co-workers understand acceptable quality levels, conduct training, enforce procedures, and provide updates as needed.
• Review and understand daily workload assignments, communicate with the previous shift supervisor, and report any production issues or workload fluctuations to Operations Leader and/or Manager of Fulfillment Operations.
• Maximize operational efficiency by maintaining production records, assessing co-worker and machine efficiency, and ensuring routine equipment maintenance.
• Evaluate co-worker performance, enforce discipline within approved guidelines, participate in training and development, and recommend promotions, transfers, terminations, and wage adjustments to the Plant Manager.
• Conduct regularly scheduled co-worker meetings to address concerns, disseminate information, and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Support continuous improvement activities as directed by management, ensuring adherence to the quality system.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of materials according to established procedures.
• Support Serigraph's current quality business system and understand the use of SPECS.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Working Supervisor - Graphic Services Preferred Experience

• Previous management experience.
• Knowledge of good departmental and company safety/housekeeping/PPE practices.
• Ability to enter required information into Titan and PLEX systems.
• Ability to interpret and understand job tickets. Understanding of departmental procedures and policies.
• Performing setup work, make adjustments, conduct minor press repairs, and operate equipment.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
