Location: South Brooklyn

Org Unit: PO Westchester

Work Days: Monday - Friday 

Exemption Status: Exempt 

Salary Range: $72,000.00 - $82,600.00  

*As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices 

Position Summary

Responsible for community outreach, assessments, clinical evaluation mental health treatment referrals and interventions. Seeking Spanish/Russian speaking LCSW to support South Brooklyn Community. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Conducts comprehensive clinical assessments; short-term individual and family counseling; and crisis intervention where indicated. Provides longer-term treatment when necessary in selected cases.
  • Maintains communication with referring community staff.
  • Provides feedback to client and makes referrals to community based services.
  • Attends and participates in community meetings as needed.
  • Implements therapeutic interventions and develops treatment plans, goals and objectives based on initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Develops and leads ongoing support groups and workshops for employees on special topics.
  • Documents services in an electronic medical record and related systems as applicable.
  • If applicable, provides clinical diagnostic evaluation using SCID interview.

Education

  • Master's Degree in related field

Experience

  • Experience with community activities or outreach. 
  • Experience with Geriatric Client Populations. 
  • Experience with RedCap, Epic, & Qualtrics highly desired. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong verbal, written communications, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional Communication and Influencing Skills: persuasive, credible, and polished communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Social work licensure (LCSW)
