The Business Analyst is the primary interface among executives and senior stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. The Business Analyst understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

• Responsible for developing requirements and specifications that support the projects assigned to: business requirements, functional requirements, system requirements, and report specifications.
• Develops test scenarios and test cases for use in system and integration testing.
• Guides to partners on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve the desired business outcomes.
• Guides in the modelling/mapping of business processes; conducts as-is/to-be business processes, is instrumental in the business process re-engineering (BPR) and involved in the organizational change exercise.
• Writes and presents cases.
• Retest and document existing tasks/defects
• Occasionally required to work evening and weekends as needed.

Education/Experience:

• College degree preferred, high school diploma required.
• Ability to handle and complete multiple, concurrent tasks with multiple user interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Assertive, flexible, pro-active, phenomenal teammate with a proven sense of ownership.
• Manage ambiguity in business needs and requirements.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with MS word, Excel and Visio
• Insurance experience a plus
• Understanding of databases, tables and fields in order to pull SQL queries helpful
