An Automation Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing automated equipment used in industrial and manufacturing settings. They work with robotic equipment, programmable logic controllers, and other automated systems to ensure Y
You Will:
- Set up, maintain and troubleshoot automated production systems
- Conduct tests to evaluate performance of automated systems
- Maintain records of automated systems
- Develop and implement modifications to automated systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on automated systems
- Assist with the development of training materials for other technicians
- Troubleshoot PLC, Robots, Vision, VFDs, and other systems
- Maintain PLC, Robots, Vision, VFDs, and other systems
- Program PLC, Robots, Vision, VFDs, and other systems
- Install PLC, Robots, Vision, VFDs, and other systems
- Repair PLC, Robots, Vision, VFDs, and other systems
You Bring:
- Ability to operate and maintain automated machines and systems
- Completed Lucid PLC and Fanuc courses or 3 years of equivalent experience
- Knowledge of programming languages and software applications related to automation
- Knowledge of Siemens and Studio 5000 PLC
- Knowledge of safety procedures and industry regulations
- Knowledge of vision systems including but not limited to: Cognex and Fanuc IR Vision
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
