Job Details:

This position starts at $18.90/hr. plus $.65 shift premium.    

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

Position Description:  

POSITION SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for efficiently cleaning assigned areas and/or equipment in a safe and efficient manner using high pressure hoses, foam, and chemical cleaners, while also adhering to food safety practices and company policies. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Clean assigned area and equipment in safe and efficient manner using high pressure hoses 

• Use chemical cleaners to foam and clean all areas of production  

• Follow all necessary procedures to meet USDA and Quality Control Regulations 

• Properly wear all required personal protective equipment, hearing protection, and footwear. 

 

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation 

 

 

Requirements:  

• Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs. repeatedly 

• Ability to stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day 

• Must work in cold/hot temperatures ranging 45-75 degrees 

• Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing, and pulling  

• Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently  

• Ability to climb step ladders and or stairs 

• Must be able to work overtime and weekends
