Job Summary:
As a Ticket Checker Team Leader on the Lift Experience Team, you will help provide the experience of a lifetime for our guests. The Lift Experience Team’s mission is to provide employees and guests with a seamless end-to-end experience from maze entrance to lift unloading. As a Ticket Checker Team Leader, you will oversee daily Scanning operations. We are seeking a leader who is friendly, approachable, and detail oriented. The ideal candidate should enjoy working outdoors in alpine weather conditions.
Job Specifications:
- Starting Wage: $21.92/hr - $29.22/hr
- Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
- Shift Type: Full Time hours available
- Working between 8-10 hours/day
- Weekends and Holidays as needed
- Skill Level: Team Lead
- Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
- Housing Availability: Yes
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operations and safety of the scanning team.
- Be a point of escalation to support scanning equipment issues, ticket/pass problems, and ticket/pass misuse.
- Monitor the daily job performance of the team, as well as provide and document coaching and discipline.
- Monitor staffing levels and adjust as needed.
- Report on staff safety incidents to the manager immediately.
- Work together with Lift Experience leadership to plan and assist with orientations, training, and payroll
- Perform audits to track the performance of the scanning team.
- Work with Lift operators to ensure the efficiency of maze setups.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills (English) and ability to present information in group settings.
- Ability to lead others.
- Intermediate or above skiing and riding skills
- Must be able to work outdoors in all types of inclement weather, standing and moving for entire shift on potentially slippery or uneven surfaces.
- Ability to multi-task and make solid decisions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to learn company computer applications
The expected pay range is $21.92/hr - $29.22/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
