As an Investment Research Analyst, you will act as a key team member in our Binance Labs Investment team.
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role supporting origination, opportunity evaluation and deal execution, working on a broad scope of investments within the business unit
- Conducting comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
- Preparing presentation and other materials on prospective investments
- Communicating and interacting with deal team members, including those in international regions
- Managing several projects at once and working effectively as an individual and as part of a team
- Proactively source and identify new investment opportunities within the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem.
- Execute on due diligence, helping the team evaluate new investment opportunities via market research, product reviews, competitive analysis, metrics analysis, customer/user reviews and technical diligence
Requirements:
- In-depth understanding & relevant experience in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, including strong grasp of trends, themes, tokenomics, etc.
- Demonstrable passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain
- At least 2-4 years of relevant work experience in venture capital, M&A, or a startup, technology or crypto business
- Strong written and analytical skills for deal analysis and internal reporting
- Ability to work well within a team and to be self-guided on a day-to-day basis
- Fluent in English
