Purpose

The Financial Manager oversees all financial and accounting operations for Texas Engineering Executive Education (TxEEE), the self-sustaining continuing professional engineering education (CPEE) unit within the Cockrell School of Engineering at UT Austin.  As a key member of the TxEEE leadership team, this position is responsible for the day-to-day management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and purchasing, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and support for TxEEE’s programs, events, and operations.

This role supports three professional engineering master’s programs (Option III), a suite of stackable graduate certifications, as well as a portfolio of open enrollment and custom short courses—including PETEX-branded offerings and programs run by the Health and Safety Training Center (HSTC).
