As Business Analyst, you will be working closely with our customers and internal stakeholders and translating their business needs into detailed requirements.  

You will be entering a role where you get to use and challenge your skills and get hands-on experience with complex payment infrastructures and scheme requirements. You will be responsible for specifying business requirements to develop IT solutions, ensuring stable and trusted payment flows, which are integrated into other business areas in SDC and to third-party vendors.

Your responsibilities extend beyond your payment expertise; you will play a key role in driving successful implementations and delivering tangible value to our customers and stakeholders. 

Teamwork is key – and you will collaborate with skilled business analysts, product owners, technicians and testers across Poland and Denmark, as we drive innovation and growth in the payments space. 

On a usual workday you will:  

• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements. 
• Create detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions. 
• Support the Payment Domain Architect, with the overall solution design. 
• Understand and break down the solution design into requirements and acceptance criteria. 
• Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states. 
• Work with IT developers, testers, and other departments at SDC to implement solutions and ensure they are in line with business goals and overall objectives. 
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders and executives. 
• Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet business requirements and the acceptance criteria. 
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts. 

What sets you up for success in this role? 

Experience: 

• Established, solid experience in business development as Business Analyst, IT developer or in a related role (ideally a minimum of 3 years) 
• Experience in payment services from banks, Mastercard Payment Services (formerly Nets) or Nets, issuing (card) business, and Swift payments.  
• Preferred experience in payment services, Clearing and Settlement, Corresponding banking setup, and/or Cash management services  
• Experience with business process modeling and documentation tools is highly desired 

Key skills and competencies: 

• Strong analytical skills. 
• Proactive approach with a strong drive. 
• Deep understanding of payment flows and IT systems. 
• Technically oriented with a deep knowledge of software development. 
• Track record of delivering value-driven services and application development (which are essential for your continued journey at SDC). 
• Ability to estimate based on business and technical requirements. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. 
• Strong facilitator, internal problem-solving and/or in the interaction with customers and external partners. 
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. 
• Proficiency in one or more Nordic languages and fluency in English, both written and spoken (required). 

Education 

• Could be in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
