As a Production Supervisor at Kerry, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the production team. Reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include ensuring the efficient execution of the production schedule, maintaining high standards of food safety, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Key responsibilities
- Efficiently execute the production schedule
- Develop and maintain efficient SOPs in collaboration with the site engineers 3. Develop and maintain qualified personnel within the plant production department
- Communicate and enforce regulatory & Kerry standards within the plan
- Drive operational efficiency initiatives
- Manage the plant production department within budget.
- Positive working environment driving a continuous improvement theme
- Work in collaboration with HSE officer to ensure a safe working environment
- Responsible for manufacturing product to specification
- Responsible for minimizing losses
- Ensure food safety programs are instituted and followed
- Management through KPIs
Qualifications and skills
- Essential Desirable
- Education BS/MS in Engineering, Business, Food Science Technical
- Analytical skills.
- Continuous improvement understanding.
- Thorough understanding of unit of operations.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodology. HACCP/food safety experience
- Experience in food, chemical, or
- Pharmaceutical industry
- Behavioral Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team leadership and development.
- Skills in motivating, coaching & influencing others.
- Problem solving.
Compensation Data
The typical hiring range for this role is $62,906 to $92,755 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
